Dr. Barry Gardner and his wife, Cyndie are pioneer founders of neurotherapy in the state of Oklahoma. They believe they were divinely inspired to help families and individuals to be healthy as God intended beginning with a fully functioning and optimal brain. “Our passion…through faith, prayer and neurotherapy is to provide a safe, drug free alternative to individuals seeking to achieve their fullest potential.

Dr. Gardner has been in the healing industry for over 35 years. First, as an x-ray technician in California and for the, past 30 years as a family Chiropractic physician, specializing in nutrition and naturopathy. He can be found as a contributing author in “Chicken Soup for the Chiropractic Soul.”

Dr. Gardner is board certified in Neurofeedback therapy and 14 years ago pioneered the way for neurotherapy treatment and research in Oklahoma. “I believe the field of Neurotherapy is divinely inspired to help improve lives. The brains capabilities to heal itself are just now being fully realized. Neurofeedback is a way to assist in that healing process. I am amazed every day at the transformations that are taking place in our patient’s lives, individually and as a family. I am deeply honored to be a part of it and give God the glory for it.”

 

 

Cyndie Gardner, a graduate of Missouri Southern State University, serves as CEO for the RenuYou Neurofeedback Brain Fitness Center. She is a published author, whose background includes nutritional counseling, physical rehabilitation, and brain wave therapy. Cyndie has a special ability to connect with children and is passionate about neurofeedback. “This has truly been the greatest reward of my life, in hearing individual testimonies and seeing with my own eyes the difference neurofeedback makes in helping individuals become the best they can be!” The myriad of thank you cards and tears, expressing heartfelt gratitude never gets old. We are so thankful that God inspired us to use this life-changing therapy to give hope and make a difference in the lives of so many! Patients come from as far away as Africa to get treatment at our facility and RenuYou has recently been referred by the Mayo Clinic! We are honored to be the pioneers to bring Neurofeedback to Oklahoma 14 years ago and believe God has given us the mandate to help families find a drug-free alternative to prescription drugs and their side effects. We know that the brain can safely be re-trained and we have the research to back it up. To God be the glory!”

 

 

Dr. Stephanie Christner is the medical director at RenuYou. She is not your stereotypical psychiatrist! While Dr Christner can and will use pharmaceuticals when necessary, her goal is to look at the root cause and help individuals improve their health through natural alternatives and supplementation. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Oklahoma State University and went on to complete her residency with the University of Oklahoma Department of Family Medicine and Psychiatry. She was awakened to do intense research as to the cause of her 6-month-old daughter’s sudden death, after getting inoculations. The research connected environmental issues and genetic variations as the root cause. This resulted in a profound motivation to understand the biochemical processes involved that can led to disease in susceptible individuals and the staggering increase in chronic metabolic diseases (diabetes, heart disease, gastrointestinal disorders, allergies, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue), neurologic disease (autoimmune disorders, developmental disorders, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s) and psychiatric disease (PTSD, suicide, depression, bipolar, anxiety, psychosis, substance dependence). RenuYou is delighted to have such a compassionate, dedicated Doctor of Psychiatry on Staff.

 

 

Our Clinical Director is a gift from God and RenuYou Neurofeedback Center feels very fortunate to have Marie McCabe…one of the most compassionate and dedicated Therapist/Counselors in Oklahoma. She received her Masters’ Degree from Oral Roberts University and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in Trauma-Focused-Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy and family reunification, and EMDR. She is certified in Neurofeedback and is adept at working with PTSD diagnosis, trauma-related issues of abuse, neglect &domestic violence, ADHD, mood/anxiety disorders and reactive attachment disorders. Marie’s experience with neurofeedback has convinced her of the potential for the human brain to achieve peak performance through the “reward biofeedback” utilized here at the RenuYou Neurofeedback Center. “I choose to work at the RenuYou Neurofeedback Center because of their professionalism, research, development, and devotion to making a difference in people’s lives. It’s exciting to work in an environment where we pray together as a team, about our patients. Faith, counseling, prayer, and neurofeedback are a winning combination.” Marie is available for individual counseling, family counseling, and neurofeedback

 

 

Joshua Beavers is a gift to all of us at RenuYou. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor and EMDR practitioner. He is passionate about helping people, on their path to health and wellness. Joshua received his Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma, and he is skilled at providing psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families. He is adept at helping people work toward various goals, and is excited to combine neurofeedback with traditional psychotherapy. Joshua states, “The research on neurofeedback is compelling. I love hearing people talk about how neurofeedback has positively impacted their lives.” Joshua adds, “I feel grateful to work among professionals who honor God with their service, and I look forward to serving my community.”

 

 

Shereen L Karjadi is the Therapeutic Director at RenuYou and has been with us for over two years. What an amazing gift, from the Lord she has been for our patients and also fellow employees at RenuYou. She is compassionate, dedicated, loyal and has a keen sense of discernment. Her Psychology degree is from Northeastern State University and she has over 10 years of experience in the field of Leadership, Management & People Development. Shereen believes that God led her to RenuYou and when you meet her, you will see why we agree. She is board certified in neurofeedback (BCN) and is also a Certified Life Coach who specializes in areas of Purpose Life Coaching and Wholeness Life Coaching. Shereen says, “As a leader, I know the value and importance in developing skills that allow me to discern the natural talents of individual team members so that we are able to hone their natural skills and abilities to help serve others. I personally have desired to serve others on a larger scale that extends beyond the workplace because I know that when we help others reach their highest potential, we can change the world for the better. This is what drew me to RenuYou…our philosophies are the same and I am honored to be a part this organization, where I get to see how lives are improved on a daily basis. It is one of the most exciting and rewarding experiences of my life working at RenuYou.” Shereen is currently pursuing on her Masters in Licensed Counseling.
